United Kingdom (CRPD 03-10-2017) - The Committee considered the initial report of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (CRPD/C/GBR/1) at its 348th and 349th meetings (see CRPD/C/SR.348 and 349), held on 23 and 24 August 2017. It adopted the present concluding observations at its 356th meeting, held on 29 August 2017.
Switzerland (CCPR 22-08-2017) - The Human Rights Committee considered the fourth periodic report of Switzerland (CCPR/C/CHE/4) at its 3374th and 3375th meetings (see CCPR/C/SR.3374 and 3375), held on 3 and 4 July 2017. At its 3403rd meeting, held on 24 July 2017, it adopted the following concluding observations.
Italy (CEDAW 24-07-2017) - The Committee considered the seventh periodic report of Italy (CEDAW/C/ITA/7) at its 1502nd and 1503rd meetings (see CEDAW/C/SR.1502 and 1503), held on 4 July 2017. Netherlands (CESCR 06-07-2017) - The Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights considered the sixth periodic report of the Netherlands (E/C.12/NLD/6) at its 18th and 19th meetings (E/C.12/2017/SR.18 and E/C.12/2017/SR.19) held on 1 and 2 June 2017, and adopted the following concluding observations at its 47th meeting, held on 23 June 2017.
Italy (CCPR 01-05-2017) - The Committee considered the sixth periodic report of Italy (CCPR/C/ITA/6 and Corr.1) at its 3345th and 3346th meetings (see CCPR/C/SR.3345 and 3346), held on 9 and 10 March 2017. At its 3364th meeting, held on 23 March 2017, it adopted the present concluding observations.
Serbia (CCPR 10-04-2017) - The Committee considered the third periodic report of Serbia (CCPR/C/SRB/3) at its 3341st and 3342nd meetings (see CCPR/C/SR.3341 and 3342), held on 7 and 8 March 2017. At its 3364th meeting, held on 23 March 2017, it adopted the present concluding observations.
On the 30th – 31st of March 2017 in Vienna the first OII Europe community event took place. During the event 28 Intersex people from 16 Council of Europe member states came together to share their experiences, and their objectives and strategies for the full implementation of human rights, bodily integrity, self determination and societal acceptance of intersex people within Europe.
Germany (CEDAW 09-03-2017) - The Committee considered the combined seventh and eighth periodic reports of Germany (CEDAW/C/DEU/7-8) at its 1482nd and 1483rd meetings (see CEDAW/C/SR.1482 and CEDAW/C/SR.1483), held on 21 February 2017.
