Tajikistan (CEDAW 14-11-2018) - The Committee considered the sixth periodic report of Tajikistan (CEDAW/C/TJK/6) at its 1643rd and 1644th meetings (see CEDAW/C/SR.1643 and CEDAW/C/SR.1644), held on 31 October 2018. Turkmenistan (CESCR 31-10-2018) - The Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights considered the second periodic report of Turkmenistan (E/C.12/TKM/2) at its 40th and 41st meetings (see E/C.12/2018/SR.40 and 41) held on 1 and 2 October 2018, and adopted the present concluding observations at its 58th meeting, held on 12 October 2018.
Gambia (CCPR 30-08-2018) - In the absence of a report by the State party, the Committee considered the situation of civil and political rights under the Covenant in the Gambia at its 3496th and 3497th meetings (CCPR/C/SR.3496 and 3497), held in a public session on 5 and 6 July 2018. In accordance with rule 70, paragraph 1, of the Committee’s rules of procedure, the failure of a State party to submit its report under article 40 of the Covenant may lead to an examination in a public session of the measures taken by the State party to give effect to the rights recognized in the Covenant and to adopt concluding observations. 2. At its 3516th meeting, held on 19 July 2018, the Committee adopted the following concluding observations.
Lithuania (CCPR 29-08-2018) - The Committee considered the fourth periodic report of Lithuania (CCPR/C/LTU/4) at its 3502nd and 3403rd meetings (see CCPR/C/SR.3502 and 3503), held on 10 and 11 July 2018. At its 3517th meeting, held on 20 July 2018, it adopted the following concluding observations.
Russian Federation (CAT 28-08-2018) - The Committee against Torture considered the sixth periodic report of the Russian Federation (CAT/C/RUS/6) at its 1658th and 1661st meetings, held on 25 and 26 July 2018 (see CAT/C/SR.1658 and 1661), and adopted the present concluding observations at its 1676th and 1677th meetings, held on 8 August 2018.
