Chile (CEDAW 14-03-2018) - The Committee considered the seventh periodic report of Chile (CEDAW/C/CHL/7) at its 1574th and 1575th meetings (see CEDAW/C/SR.1574 and CEDAW/C/SR.1575), held on 21 February 2018. Spain (CRC 05-03-2018) - The Committee considered the combined fifth and sixth periodic reports of Spain (CRC/C/ESP/5-6) at its 2263rd and 2264th meetings (see CRC/C/SR.2263 and 2264), held on 22 January 2018, and adopted the present concluding observations at its 2282nd meeting, held on 2 February 2018.
Intersex persons and those with genetic variations of sex characteristics meeting from March 1 to 3, 2018, in San José de Costa Rica during the First Latin American Regional Conference of Intersex Persons celebrate, in this our first gathering, the plurality of our bodies and the diversity of our voices.
Between the 8th and 11th February 2018, the First Asian Intersex Forum took place in Bangkok, Thailand. The Forum brought together 14 intersex people representing intersex organisations and communities from Hong Kong (China), India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
Australia (CCPR 01-12-2017) - The Committee considered the sixth periodic report of Australia (CCPR/C/AUS/6) at its 3418th and 3419th meetings (see CCPR/C/SR.3418 and 3419), held on 18 and 19 October 2017. At its 3442nd and 3444th meetings, held on 3 and 6 November 2017, it adopted the present concluding observations.
Between the 24th and 26th November 2017, the First African Intersex Meeting took place in Johannesburg, South Africa. This meeting brought together 22 intersex people representing intersex organisations from 7 African countries.
Denmark (CRC 26-10-2017) - The Committee considered the fifth periodic report of Denmark (CRC/C/DNK/5) at its 2230th and 2231st meetings (see CRC/C/SR.2230 and 2231), held on 15 September, and adopted the present concluding observations at its 2251st meeting, held on 29 September 2017.
