Haiti (CRC 24-02-2016) - The Committee considered the combined second and third periodic reports of Haiti (CRC/C/HTI/2-3) at its 2068th and 2070th meetings (see CRC/C/SR.2068 and 2070), held on 15 January 2016, and adopted the following concluding observations at its 2104th meeting (see CRC/C/SR.2104), held on 29 January 2016.
Republic of Korea (CCPR 03-12-2015) - The Committee considered the fourth periodic report submitted by the Republic of Korea (CCPR/C/KOR/4) at its 3210th and 3211th meetings (see CCPR/C/SR.3210 and 3211), held on 22 and 23 October 2015. At its 3226th meeting, held on 3 November 2015, it adopted the following concluding observations.
Russian Federation (CEDAW 20-11-2015) - The Committee considered the eighth periodic report of the Russian Federation (CEDAW/C/RUS/8) at its 1335th and 1336th meetings, on 27 October 2015 (see CEDAW/C/SR.1335 and 1336). The Committee’s list of issues and questions is contained in CEDAW/C/RUS/Q/8 and the responses of the Russian Federation are contained in CEDAW/C/RUS/Q/8/Add.1.
Brazil (CRC 30-10-2015) - The Committee considered the combined second to fourth periodic reports of Brazil (CRC/C/BRA/2-4) at its 2036th and 2037th meetings (see CRC/C/SR.2036 and 2037), held on 21 and 22 September 2015, and adopted the following concluding observations at its 2052nd meeting (see CRC/C/SR.2052), held on 2 October 2015.
Chile (CRC 30-10-2015) - The Committee considered the combined fourth and fifth periodic reports of Chile (CRC/C/CHL/4-5) at its 2039th and 2040th meetings (see CRC/C/SR.2039 and 2040), held on 24 September 2015, and adopted the following concluding observations at its 2052nd meeting (see CRC/C/SR.2052), held on 2 October 2015.
Guyana (CESCR 28-10-2015)- 1. The Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights considered the combined second to fourth periodic reports of Guyana on the implementation of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (E/C.12/GUY/2-4) at its 60th and 61st meetings (see E/C.12/2015/SR.60 and 61), held on 28 and 29 September 2015, and adopted the following concluding observations at its 78th meeting, held on 9 October 2015. 2. The Committee had considered the initial report of Guyana during its sixteenth session, held from 28 April to 16 May 1997, and had concluded the review without adopting concluding observations owing to the fact that the information provided was not sufficient to assess the effective implementation of the rights enshrined in the Covenant in the State party. 3. The Committee welcomes the combined second to fourth periodic reports submitted by the State party, despite the long delay in submission, and the supplementary information provided in the replies to the list of issues (E/C.12/GUY/Q/2-4/Add.1). The Committee also appreciates the constructive dialogue held with the State party’s high-level delegation.
Iraq (CESCR 27-10-2015) - The Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights considered the fourth periodic report of Iraq on the implementation of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (E/C.12/IRQ/4) at its 62nd and 63rd meetings (see E/C.12/2015/SR.62 and 63), held on 29 and 30 September 2015, and adopted the following concluding observations at its 78th meeting, held on 9 October 2015.
Sudan (CESCR 27-10-2015) - The Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights considered the second periodic report of the Sudan on the implementation of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (E/C.12/SDN/2) at its 66th and 67th meetings (see E/C.12/2015/SR.66 and 67), held on 1 and 2 October 2015, and adopted the following concluding observations, at its 78th meeting, held on 9 October 2015.
