Republic of Korea (CESCR 19-10-2017) - The Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights considered the fourth periodic report of the Republic of Korea on the implementation of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (E/C.12/KOR/4) at its 54th and 55th meetings (E/C.12/2017/SR.54 and 55) held on 20 and 21 September 2017, and adopted the following concluding observations at its 78th meeting, held on 6 October 2017.
Pakistan (CCPR 23-08-2017) - The Committee considered the initial report of Pakistan (CCPR/C/PAK/1) at its 3386th, 3387th and 3388th meetings (see CCPR/C/SR.3386, 3387 and 3388), held on 11 and 12 July 2017. At its 3406th and 3407th meetings, held on 25 and 26 July 2017, it adopted the present concluding observations.
Swaziland (CCPR 23-08-2017) - In the absence of a report by the State party, the Human Rights Committee considered the situation of civil and political rights under the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights in Swaziland at its 3382nd and 3383rd meetings (CCPR/C/SR.3382 and CCPR/C/SR.3383), held in a public session on 7 and 10 July 2017. In accordance with rule 70, paragraph 1, of the Committee’s rules of procedure, the failure of a State party to submit its report under article 40 of the Covenant may lead to an examination in a public session of the measures taken by the State party to give effect to the rights recognized in the Covenant and to adopt concluding observations. 2.
