The Moscow Statement

The Moscow Statement was created on February 29, 2020 during an intersex community meeting in Moscow, which was attended by 15 intersex people from different cities and regions of Russia, including Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Chita, Chelyabinsk, Kursk, Tomsk, Ufa, Krasnoyarsk, Arkhangelsk, Ivanovo and Snezhinsk.

Russian Federation (CAT 28-08-2018) - The Committee against Torture considered the sixth periodic report of the Russian Federation (CAT/C/RUS/6) at its 1658th and 1661st meetings, held on 25 and 26 July 2018 (see CAT/C/SR.1658 and 1661), and adopted the present concluding observations at its 1676th and 1677th meetings, held on 8 August 2018.

CEDAW/C/RUS/CO/8

Russian Federation (CEDAW 20-11-2015) - The Committee considered the eighth periodic report of the Russian Federation (CEDAW/C/RUS/8) at its 1335th and 1336th meetings, on 27 October 2015 (see CEDAW/C/SR.1335 and 1336). The Committee’s list of issues and questions is contained in CEDAW/C/RUS/Q/8 and the responses of the Russian Federation are contained in CEDAW/C/RUS/Q/8/Add.1.
